Brian Enoka CFP®, AIF®, CEPA®

President & Founder

Brian Enoka is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional specializing in retirement lifestyle planning and multi-generational wealth transfer strategies. Brian advises professional couples, individuals and business owners who desire a work-optional lifestyle. He finds fulfillment helping his clients engage in the planning process to pursue their specific family and life goals.

Brian earned his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Hawaiʻi. In 1995, his love for solving complex problems and desire to help people eventually led him in a new direction as a Retirement Planning Specialist working in a large, multi-national corporation. Brian quickly moved up the corporate ladder becoming the Hawaii Branch Manager in 1998. The following year, he was promoted to Hawaii District Manager, and in 2003, added the state of Alaska to his regional management. He has over twenty-five years of experience in the qualified retirement plan market. Brian is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® working with sponsors of 403(b), 401(k) and 457 plans. Through the years Brian dreamed of starting his ideal company. Could he create a company free of corporate sales goals, where advisors could really get to know their clients and make objective decisions that are best for them? After earning his CFP® designation, Brian left the security of working for a large multinational financial services company to pursue his dream founding Island Wealth Management in 2008.

Brian and his wife reside in Honolulu. They have a son and a daughter who share their love of travel, food, books, and music. In addition to spending time with family, Brian enjoys a good bottle of wine with friends!

Lance Miyahira

Financial Consultant

Lance Miyahira is one of Island Wealth’s financial consultants. As a kid, Lance loved toying with numbers. His favorite classes in school circled around math, finance and accounting. Lance eventually found his calling in financial services, and now has over 20 years of industry experience. He is a Life, Health and Disability Producer, an LPL Registered Representative in the State of Hawaiʻi, and an LPL Investment Advisor Representative.

Lance offers financial planning, insurance and investment services. His expertise revolves around retirement planning, cash flow analysis, cash management, risk management, client portfolio management, and tax-advantaged investing. Lance prioritizes his clients as he would close family and friends. He views clients’ unique financial histories and aspirations like a puzzle and enjoys the process of “piecing” together a cohesive plan to strive to fulfill his clients’ life goals. As a financial advisor, one of his personal ambitions is to stay up to date with modern investments and strategies that best suit his clients’ needs.

As the years pass by, Lance has realized that time is elusive. Recently, he’s recognized the importance of a “stop and smell the roses” ideology. He remarks, “most of us struggle to just get through the day, but sometimes we just need to slow down to appreciate what we have.” As a father, he empathizes with parents like him, whose children are quickly approaching adulthood!

Lori Ambrosewicz

Client Relationship Manager

Lori Ann Ambrosewicz is the Relationship Manager for Island Wealth. Lori works to personalize the client experience and support our Operations Team and advisors. Lori graduated with a BA in Education from Gonzaga University and an M.Ed. in educational administration from the University of Hawaiʻi. She taught for nineteen years in the DOE and independent school systems before joining our team. Her extensive background in education, dedication to learning and strong familial values resonate with our company.

The third of four children, Lori, grew up in a multigenerational household, and credits her grandmother as having made a huge impact on her life. “Popo” was an educator and principal who retired the day Lori was born to care for her grandchildren. Lori and her husband, Dan, hope to carry on beloved traditions, started by her grandmother, like the nativity play of 30+ years that their family performs together each year.

When Lori isn’t working, she’s most likely surfing. Her newest challenge has been learning to foil. She also likes traveling and hopes to take her children to New Zealand and Europe one day soon.
